We are so excited to start our expansion outside of Toronto!
Based on the great feedback we have had in the two years since we started offering visits from our doggies we want to bring the calming effect of dogs to Durham region, Peel region, York Region as far east as Oshawa, as far west as Hamilton and north to Barrie.
The first step is finding volunteers in those areas. We were fortunate enough to stumble upon a wonderful volunteer named Andrew who, along with his wife Linda initiated a poster campaign in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. The result for first volunteer/dog assessment outside of Toronto in late October at the Whitby public library. We now have seven wonderful dogs and owners ready to start doing visits in Durham region once they have passed their police background checks.
